The Budget Steel Wheelchair is a great entry level wheelchair, which has many of the features of leading wheelchairs, without the cost. The Budget Steel Wheelchair is available as either a "Transit" model, where an attendant is required to propel it, or as a "Self-Propelled" model, where the occupant can propel it, themselves.
The Budget Steel Wheelchair can be manually propelled forwards and backwards and is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use however it is not intended to be used on rough or uneven terrain.
With a seat width of 45cm the Budget Steel Transit wheelchair has a maximum user weight of 115kg.
In preparation for use as a seat in a vehicle, the Budget Steel Wheelchair has been subjected to the dynamic test requirements of ISO 7176-19 and satisfied all performance requirements.
