Refund Policy

Please carefully consider your purchase prior to payment.

For consumers, we are not required to provide a refund or replacement if you change your mind. But you can choose a refund or exchange if an item has a major problem. This is when the item:

  • has either one serious problem or several smaller problems that would stop someone buying the product if they knew about them beforehand
  • is unsafe
  • is significantly different from the sample or description
  • doesn’t do what we said it would, or what you asked for and can’t be easily fixed.

Alternatively, you can choose to keep the item and we will compensate you for any drop in value.

If the problem is not major, we will repair the item within a reasonable time. If it is not repaired in a reasonable time you can choose a refund or replacement. Please keep your proof of purchase —e.g. your receipt.

Change of Mind Returns

Where you have changed your mind, if you decide that you do not require the item you have purchased, we may offer a refund less a restocking fee of 25% on the cost of the item.

Freight charges are not refundable. Returned items in for change-of-mind returns must be unused and in "as new" and "saleable" condition with original packaging intact and all accessories returned.

Freight charges on the returned goods will be at Buyer's expense. It is the buyer’s responsibility to have items returned to Cobalt Health in the same condition that they are sent.

Liability for goods damaged on return transit lies firmly with the buyer. We do not accept COD returns. We reserve the right to refuse return of goods for change of mind returns.

Special Order Items or customised products may not be returned for refund or exchanged unless required under Australian law.

Where you no longer require the item, if the item is something that can be appropriately cleaned for use by other people, your local hospital, hospice or Red Cross may be able to use certain items of equipment to help patients/families who require this equipment.
