The Invacare folding 3/4 length Side Rails (sometimes called Safety Sides) are suitable for the Invacare CS8 Electric Bed and fit both the Single and King Single bed sizes.
The Side Rails are designed to assist in situations where the patient is at risk of falling out of bed or needs assistance to reposition themselves whilst in bed.
The Side Rails can provide an increased level of security and comfort for both the carer and the patient.
Sold in pairs (left-hand and right-hand sides) the Side Rails are collapsible to ensure they do not impede patient care or getting in and out of the bed.
The release mechanism to collapse the rail is located outside the rail, towards the foot end of the bed providing easy access for the carer who can operate the mechanism with one hand.
There is 110mm spacing between each rail, and each rail has a SWL of 75kg.
