Moving & Handling presenting the Cobalt Sling Range
Cobalt Health is excited to present our comprehensive range of patient slings. Working closely with a leading UK sling manufacturer our “Moving and Handling” sling range not only ensure that patient comfort and safety are given the top priority, but also that careful consideration is given to the sling’s functionality, durability, and ease of use for the carers.
The Cobalt Health Moving and Handling range offer a wide variety of slings, designed to be used with Lifting and Standing Hoists, and are available with both Loop and Clip (keyhole) fittings. Sling selection should only be made after a comprehensive Risk Assessment has been completed, which will reflect each user's individual physical and cognitive characteristics as well as the task(s) to be performed.
A Toileting or Hygiene Sling is designed to assist with toileting, dressing/undressing, transfers to and from the toilet or transfers from a sitting or semi sitting position. Cobalt Toileting Slings are available with or without “Head Support” depending on the patient’s trunk stability and their ability to control their head and torso.
