The Dual Bed Exit Sensor Beam comes with brackets and fits to the wall at the head of the bed, 40cm off the floor. The wall mount brackets are made of durable plastic, which protects the sensor beams.

The system connects to the facility nurse call system at the over-bed call point and is compatible will all brands of nurse call systems.

Being a discreet system with no moving parts or obvious controls, the Bed Exit Sensor PIR is non-invasive and robust, and most the time the resident wont even know its there.

Spare brackets are inexpensive and readily available so the system can be moved from room to room as required, leaving the brackets on the wall for future use. The sensor beam system comes complete with a power pack and is turned on and off at the in-line switch located close to the bed side call point.

The PIRs project an invisible infra-red sensor beam along the sides of the bed which tapers down to meet the floor, allowing care staff to walk around the end of the bed.

If the resident swings a leg out of either side of the bed, the invisible beam is broken and an alarm is generated through the facility's nurse call system.

The bed exit sensor beam alert kit for medical aged care facilities is available with either one or two PIR sensors. The single PIR sensor kit being required when the bed is positioned along the wall and can be exited from just the one side.
The 6.3 mm plug can be configured to suit all brand nurse call systems and is delivered as a mono configuration unless requested otherwise. Converting the 6.3mm plug configuration is easily achieved by removing a lug on a set of pins.
