The Lightweight Aluminium Wheelchair is available as either a "Self-Propelled model", where the occupant can propel it themselves, or as a "Transit model", where a family member or carer is required to propel it. The wheelchair can be manually propelled forwards and backwards and is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.
Constructed with a sturdy aluminium frame and nylon seat & backrest, this wheelchair is robust, yet lightweight for storage and transportation. The Self Propelling model has large aluminium 61cm (24”) rear wheels with a hand rim, providing a smooth independent ride for active users and is available with a 18" / 46cm seat, with a maximum user weight of 115kg.
