Cobalt Health acquires Drive DeVilbiss' Australian business

Cobalt Health is pleased to announce that after a long partnership with Drive DeVilbiss (Drive), we have acquired the majority of their Australian operations. Drive’s range of mobility, respiratory, oxygen and assistive technology aids complement and broaden our existing Cobalt offerings.

This acquisition will allow customers of both companies to access a broader range of products. As well as our continued internal product development capability, Cobalt will work with Drive’s global product team to introduce new products into the Australian market over time, increasing our range of products and showcasing best-in-class products to our customers.

We are committed to making this transition for you as smooth as possible. We are currently working with Drive to ensure all technical knowledge and resources are transferred to Cobalt systems, and are working to update our forecasting to ensure we keep stock of all products and spare parts, so stock is available when you need it.

Over the coming weeks, we’ll be adding all of Drive’s products to our website, so you’ll be able to view and order these products via self-service. Of course, our friendly team is always available to assist if you have any questions.

We’re excited to share this news with you, and know that this acquisition will provide our customers and their clients with more choice when they are looking for products and solutions, with the same great Cobalt service.

Customers

Will I automatically become a customer of Cobalt Health?

Yes – if you are a customer of Drive DeVilbiss Australia, and wish to order a Drive or Cobalt product from us, we will create you as a customer of Cobalt Health.

I order products from Cobalt already – can I now order Drive products?

That’s right – the full range of Drive products sold in Australia are available to you – both complete products and spare parts. Please bear with us while we add all their products and spare parts into our system.

Can I still contact Drive DeVilbiss customer service?

Cobalt Health has taken over customer service responsibilities for the products and services previously offered by Drive DeVilbiss in Australia. Please direct all inquiries to our Cobalt Health customer support team going forward. Emails sent to the sales.au Drive DeVilbiss email will be automatically sent to the Cobalt team.

What should I do if I have a warranty claim or need repairs for Drive DeVilbiss products?

If you have a warranty claim or need repairs for Drive DeVilbiss products, please contact our customer service team at Cobalt Health. We will guide you through the process and ensure that you receive the support you need.

Orders

How do I place a new order?

If you’re an existing customer of Cobalt, you can place it through the normal sales channels you use – whether that be our website, via phone (1800 417 822), email, via a sales representative or distributor. If you’re a Drive customer, please email sales @cobalthealth.com.au with your purchase order, or place it via our website. We are working to add all Drive products to our website over the coming weeks.

What happens to my back order that I had with Drive?

If you had a backorder with Drive DeVilbiss, this will be transferred to Cobalt. We are working with Drive to understand the status of these orders, and will be reaching out to you to give you an update on your order. Product Range

What are you doing with Drive’s product range?

We are committed to maintaining Drive’s existing product range, but will also be looking to introduce a bigger range of products, drawing on Drive’s product lines overseas. We welcome any feedback about their product range you may have. If you have any questions, comments or feedback on their range, we’d love to hear from you!

Pricing

What are the prices for the products?

Drive released a new price list, effective January 2025. We will be maintaining that price list, with no increases to those prices. While pricing adjustments can occur from time to time, we aim to maintain competitive pricing for all products. We will notify our customers in advance of any significant changes.

Delivery

How does Delivery work?

As much as possible, we will maintain the delivery methods that Drive used. You may notice that from time to time a different courier company may be used. We are always happy to work with you on delivery arrangements.
