The Cobalt Extra Care Mattress (M04) is a 3-layer foam mattress, with firm foam side walls, which provides comfort, pressure care and excellent value for money.
Suitable for patients rated from low-medium risk of developing a pressure injury, the specialised foam mattress design & multi-directional stretch cover ensures excellent pressure re-distribution across most user groups.
The multi-directional stretch cover contributes towards a reduction in "shear" & "friction" forces, whilst assisting infection control protocols ensuring the Extra Care mattress is suitable for use in all environments.
