The National Health Service of the UK designed these kit bags in consultation with the UK's nursing community.
Whether it’s using supermarket ‘bags for life’, carrying more kit than a pack horse, not having the right dressings to hand or visiting patients in unsterile environments, we all appreciate the challenges our community care practitioners face.
These bags are designed to be used by nurses, allied health professionals and care workers who regularly need to transport equipment, such as those doing community outreach or home visits.
The modular, bespoke design includes four colour coded pouches inside a larger bag (the black bag), and another bag that can be carried with the user (the blue bag). The blue bag is available in satchel, backpack and roll-aboard.
All bags are fully IPC compliant, and the antimicrobial surfaces can be fully wiped down. The bags are flexible enough to be used by a range of departments, and are aimed to also improve stock control, cut down on admin time and also improve time spent with patients.
