Safe Life Wired Bed Pad Kit & Inline Monitor
The Wired Bed Pad Kit & Inline Monitor is an economical facility-based kit that provides an early intervention monitoring system to alert carers if a person has rolled out or is getting up from bed.
The kit is a wired system that connects the Bed Pad to an Inline Monitor which is plugged into the bedside Nurse Call port. The Pad is placed on top of the mattress, beneath the sheet, under the shoulder position, and if the person sits up or exits the bed, the pressure is lifted off the pad and the Inline Monitor triggers the Nurse Call system alerting the care staff.
The Inline Monitor will suit most Nurse Call systems and has both Tip & Ring or Tip & Sleeve settings, a low battery indicator and a 6.3mm right angle jack to plug directly into the bedside Nurse Call point.
